Cookie Policy
Last updated: June 6, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Sellura ("Sellura", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar browser storage on sellura.io, and the choices you have. Essential cookies keep the service running; analytics and marketing cookies are optional and set only if you consent. You can change your choice any time via Cookie settings in the footer. It works alongside our Privacy Policy. We are not affiliated with Etsy.
What cookies and browser storage are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. "Local storage" is a similar mechanism that keeps small values in your browser but, unlike cookies, is not automatically sent back to a server. Both let a site remember things between page loads.
We group what we use into: cookies strictly necessary to run Sellura, preferences that make it nicer to use, and — only with your consent — analytics and marketing cookies. No analytics or marketing cookies are set until you opt in.
Essential cookies we use
These are required for the service to work. Without them you can't sign in or stay signed in, so they don't require consent.
- Authentication session: set through Supabase (our database and auth provider) when you sign in with a magic link, to keep you securely signed in as you move between pages. Clearing it or signing out ends your session.
- Security and routing: our hosting and network providers (Vercel and Cloudflare) may set a strictly necessary cookie to route requests and protect the site from abuse.
Preferences we remember (browser storage)
These are stored in your browser's local storage, not sent to us, and only make the app more convenient:
- Theme preference ("sellura.theme"): remembers whether you chose light, dark, or to follow your device's theme.
- Consent choice ("sellura_consent"): remembers whether you allowed analytics and/or marketing cookies, so we can honor it and not ask again.
You can clear these at any time through your browser settings; the only effect is that we'll forget those preferences.
Analytics, marketing, and third parties
When you go to checkout, payment is handled by Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle runs its own checkout pages and may set its own cookies, governed by Paddle's cookie and privacy policies.
Vercel Web Analytics is always on and privacy-friendly: it sets no cookies, doesn't track you across other sites, and builds no advertising profile.
Only if you consent to analytics cookies, PostHog (EU) and Google Analytics (GA4) help us understand product usage and traffic. Only if you consent to marketing cookies, Meta and Google set advertising cookies, and we share limited data (such as a hashed email, click identifiers, and IP) with them to measure our ads; and, once you grant marketing consent, we set first-party cookies ("sellura_attr", "sellura_vid") to remember which campaign brought you so we can attribute sign-ups and purchases.
We honor your choice through Google Consent Mode v2 and by not loading these tools until you opt in.
How to control cookies
You're in control. You can:
- Use "Cookie settings" in the footer to change or withdraw your analytics and marketing consent at any time.
- Use your browser settings to view, block, or delete cookies and clear local storage. Browser help pages explain how for each browser.
- Sign out of Sellura to end your authentication session.
Please note that blocking essential cookies will stop you from signing in or staying signed in, so parts of Sellura won't work.
Your consent
Essential cookies are necessary to provide a service you've asked for, so they're set without consent. Analytics and marketing cookies are set only after you opt in through our cookie banner, and they stay off until then.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using "Cookie settings" in the footer. For visitors in the EEA/UK, non-essential cookies default to denied until you choose, in line with Google Consent Mode v2.
Changes and contact
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time — for example, if we add analytics. When we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above.
