Free Etsy Keyword Tool
Type what you sell and get an honest demand report: which phrases real shoppers complete in Etsy's search bar, how crowded each phrase is, and long-tail ideas worth a tag slot. No account, no invented search volumes.
Free — signals come from Etsy's own autocomplete and public results. About 20 checks per 10 minutes.
How the demand signals work
The tool asks Etsy itself. A phrase's position in Etsy's own autocomplete shows real shoppers type it — that becomes the high/medium/low demand band. The competing-listing count from Etsy's public results shows how crowded the phrase is. If live data is briefly unavailable, you still get deterministic long-tail ideas, clearly labeled — never an invented number. A phrase with real demand and few competitors is where a tag slot earns its keep.

FAQ
Where does the demand data come from?
From Etsy itself: the position of a phrase in Etsy's own autocomplete (what real shoppers type) and the number of competing listings on its public results page. Both are labeled estimates — signals, not measurements.
Why don't you show monthly search volumes?
Because Etsy doesn't publish them, so every exact volume you see anywhere is modeled. This tool only shows signals Etsy actually reveals and says so — that's the whole philosophy.
Is it free? Are there limits?
Free, no account. To keep it fast for everyone it allows about 20 checks per 10 minutes per connection; if live Etsy data is briefly unavailable, the tool degrades to long-tail ideas instead of failing.
What should I do with the keywords I find?
Front-load the strongest phrase in the first 40 characters of your title, back it with a matching tag, and spend the remaining tag slots on lower-competition long-tail phrases. Or let the generator write the whole listing around them.
