Convert an Etsy listing to eBay
Selling the same product on Etsy and eBay is normal — copying the same text to both is what hurts. The two platforms read listings differently, so a title that ranks on one is mediocre on the other.
Paste your public Etsy listing URL below and Sellura rewrites it for eBay's actual rules: the 80-character title budget, keyword-first ordering, and item specifics instead of tags. The rewritten title preview and a 0–100 SEO score are free; unlocking the full eBay version costs 1 credit.

What actually changes between Etsy and eBay
Etsy's 2026 guidance rewards a short, natural title — state what the item is in under 15 words, and put keyword variations into the 13 tags. eBay is the opposite: there is no tags field at all, the 80-character title is the main searchable text, and eBay's own advice is to spend that space on the keywords buyers type.
That's why a copied-over Etsy title underperforms on eBay: it spends its characters on readability eBay search doesn't reward, and the keywords that lived in your Etsy tags simply vanish — on eBay they belong in the title and in item specifics.
- Title: Etsy caps at 140 characters but rewards ~80 natural ones; eBay hard-caps at 80 and rewards packing distinct keywords first.
- Keywords: Etsy hides them in 13 private tags; eBay reads them from the title and from item specifics (brand, size, colour, material).
- Description: Etsy search reads yours since 2022 — keep the lead keyword-bearing; on eBay the first ~200 characters show above the mobile fold.
A worked example
Etsy title (natural — the 13 tags carry the keyword variations)
“Personalized leather journal with hand-stitched A5 refillable cover”
eBay title (keyword-first, inside the 80-character budget)
“Personalized Leather Journal A5 Refillable Notebook Handmade Vegan Gift”
Example. The eBay version front-loads the searched phrases (personalized leather journal, A5 refillable notebook) and adds the qualifiers buyers filter by — the job your Etsy tags were doing, done by the title and item specifics instead.
FAQ
Will the rewrite be a copy of my Etsy wording?
No. The converter reads your public title and description, drafts the product's details from them, then generates an eBay-specific listing from scratch inside eBay's limits — a keyword-first title, item specifics and a fresh description.
Where do my 13 Etsy tags go on eBay?
eBay has no tags field. The searched phrases that lived in your tags move into the title (the main searchable text) and into item specifics — the brand/size/colour/material fields eBay search and filters read.
Does Sellura publish the listing to eBay?
No. You get marketplace-ready text and a CSV export; you paste or import it into your eBay listing yourself. Nothing is posted on your behalf.
What does it cost?
The eBay title preview and its 0–100 SEO score are free, no card. Unlocking the complete eBay listing — search keywords, item specifics, description and the CSV — costs 1 credit, the same credit any Sellura unlock uses.
Sellura is not affiliated with Etsy or eBay. We read public listing data only, rewrite it within each platform's published limits, and you paste the result into your shop yourself — nothing is ever published on your behalf.
